Nutrition Counseling

Nutrition is the foundation of a healthy lifestyle and plays an integral role in increasing the efficiency and productivity of your training sessions. Nutrition recommendations for exercise are dependent on a number of factors including the intensity of your training, the duration, the type and frequency of your workouts, and ultimately your lifestyle and fitness goals.

Whether you are interested in weight loss, improved performance and health or simply changing your eating habits, our dietitians will help you develop an eating lifestyle to achieve those goals. Clients truly committed to the challenge of long term dietary changes will see great results and feel empowered in their improved eating skills, food choices and energy levels.

WHY YOU SHOULD SEEK A REGISTERED DIETITIAN (RD)

RDs have an in-depth scientific knowledge of food and human nutrition from their 5 year university degree. They integrate this knowledge with that from other disciplines including health and social sciences, education, communication and management. Registered Dietitians are the recognized food and nutrition professionals in Canada.

They can also educate you about healthy eating choices to help manage and control a variety of health conditions including heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, digestive problems, cholesterol problems and many more food and nutrition concerns. Consulting with an RD ensures that you get accurate and appropriate information from a professional who is accountable for his or her knowledge and expertise. You are protected against unethical or false advice and can trust that you will receive a high quality service.
